We were fortunate enough to meet up with Chris' auntie and uncle again in Singapore which was lovely. One thing we were really excited about was to get back to Asia to eat all the delicious food, especially the roti! The food did not disappoint and was a big part of our trip to Singapore. After meeting up with Chris' family at the airport, we made our way to a restaurant and had some tasty seafood! The speciality was a chilli crab which was perfect for Chris loving his spicy food! I enjoyed trying the seafood; I had some prawn and scallop fried rice.

The next day, after some delicious roti for breakfast, we headed to Marina Bay Sands and The Gardens by the Bay. We made our way up Marina Bay Sands where we enjoyed a drink with a pretty special view!

After this, we headed to the beautiful gardens for the afternoon.

In the evening we were treated to a meal at the very posh Singapore Cricket Club! I had lamb and then crepe Suzette which was perfect! After our meal, we enjoyed live music, fire works and some drinks!

We slept in on the following day and had a chilled morning before going out for a traditional Chinese New Year lunch. It was great to experience different traditions. Later, we looked around some shops before having dinner at the apartment.

On our last full day in Singapore, we headed to Sentosa Island, an island 10 minutes from the city. On the island, there are a lot of different attractions such as a Sea World, Universal Studios, a waterpark and lots more We decided to head to Universal Studios as I had really enjoyed the one in LA when I went a few years ago. We spent the day watching performances, going on rides and queuing!

After this, we headed to the beaches on the island and we were amazed with how beautiful they were. You would never believe that you are so close to the city, it really felt like paradise! Next time we come to Singapore we will definitely spend more time relaxing here.

We headed to a Chinese restaurant for some dinner where we enjoyed a traditional Lion dance for the Chinese New Year. Chris managed to get stuck between both the Lions at one point which was very amusing! Unfortunately, that evening, Chris was unwell with a bug/food poisoning. I was doubtful that we would be able to make it to the airport at 4.30 am after he'd been up all night. Somehow he managed to make it and we caught our flight to Taiwan.

We loved our time in Singapore and wished we were here for longer! We are so lucky to have been spoilt by Chris' family and it was great to spend more time with them.
